Employee Growth

We prioritize employee growth by investing in DEI activities available to all employees, such as leadership training and engagement programs, as well as having certified DEI advocates among our Brose staff.

Employee Testimonial

"I truly benefitted – both professionally and as a member of the human race – by participating in the Zekelman Holocaust Center series. The Holocaust demonstrates the extreme dangers of discrimination, exclusion, dehumanization and antisemitism along with the full spectrum of human responses. Learning about such events helps me better navigate my own diverse workplace here at Brose, improving my understanding of human behavior and promoting empathy and fairness in my personal and professional life. I’m so appreciative to Brose for the opportunity." - Sarah Pero

Inclusive Workplace

We prioritize inclusivity in our workplace through leadership commitment to DEI strategy implementation, the establishment of Employee Resource Groups, and the facilitation of mentoring programs. These initiatives collectively foster an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and every employee has the opportunity to thrive.

Employee Testimonial

"I really enjoy the Brose ERG-sponsored events and discussions which occur as a result of them. These events and talks provide a wonderful opportunity to learn about other cultures, history (our own and others’), different points of view, and so on. We live in a very large world full of amazing people, places and things, and I relish the widening of the my particular viewpoint of the world, personally and professionally." - Sara Hilton

Community Outreach

Our community development efforts are woven into our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) goals. We prioritize outreach to underprivileged and underrepresented groups, focusing our initiatives to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Story

We thrive by actively supporting our local communities, considering our commitment to community care and employee well-being vital to our ongoing success. We support several local organizations such as the Oakland Family Services (OFS) and its Adopt-A-Family program that continues to sponsor disadvantaged families. We sponsor the Rhonda Walker Foundation, a non-profit organization with the mission to empower inner-city teenage girls. We offer mentorship and opportunities to high school FIRST Robotics teams to explore STEM fields. Additionally, our support of Winning Futures helps mentor and empower high school and college students to find their passions and achieve their dreams.
