Account Manager

Your tasks

  • Builds and maintains customer’s relationship
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone, in person, and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services

  • Actively manages with the project team the acquisition phase including kick-off of cross-functional team discussions to gain the necessary inputs for on time quotations while managing import KPI’s

  • Responsible for department marketing while being acutely aware of the competitive landscape

  • Support technical and business objectives of prospective customers (ie. Cost Break Down forms)

  • Provides product demos and technical reviews to qualified customers on request

  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales order documents

  • Track and monitor change management process and assess impact for customer

  • Conducts updates within the sales planning tools for respective customers or product segment

  • Enters new customer data and sales data for current customers into computer database

Your Profile

  • Bachelor of Business Administration and/or Engineering Degree from four-year college or university

  • Three years of technical sales experience within the US automotive industry preference

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with market analysis and marketing
