Commodity Buyer

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for the implementation of the global supplier strategies
  • Management of assigned commodities and suppliers within specific regions
  • Continuous cost optimization for the assigned commodities
  • Implementation of cost targets for the goods / services
  • Bundling, analyzing and managing demands within assigned commodities
  • Market and product research for assigned commodities/ projects to identify new production processes and technologies
  • Identification of alternative suppliers
  • Bid evaluations considering the assumptions specified in the quote
  • Preparation and conduction of negotiations with suppliers
  • Preparation and presentation of supplier choice for the decision meeting
  • Conduction of supplier assessments according to Brose Group technology audit guidelines
  • Contract management and master data management
  • Responsible to meet established department KPIs
  • Provision of relevant data for strategic decisions (category portfolio management, supplier portfolio management)

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • 5 years min experience in Automotive purchasing, preferably in Stamping parts or seats components.
  • Microsoft Office, SAP.
  • Negotiation, Presentation / Public Speaking, Basic Legal and Accounting Knowledge
