Controls Engineer

Design, engineer, and continuously improve Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with automated machinery, equipment, and devices, and to analyze and control production, increase quality traceability, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and equipment availability, for Brose manufacturing plants in North America region. Design, improve, and validate mechatronic controls for Programable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for current and Industry 4.0-based plant control systems, and develop and implement software standards for internal department and suppliers to transmit data from PLCs and HMIs to MES, and ensure seamless communication and secure data transfer between automation devices, MES, and plant IT infrastructures. Plan, evaluate, review designs, engineer, develop, and continuously improve PLC-based controls supporting pre-assembly, assembly and final assembly stations and end of line testers (EOLTs) and devices for seat systems, drive systems, and door modules.
Your Profile
Bachelor, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related.
Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer, Coordinator, or related, improving and validating controls for Programable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for current and Industry 4.0-based plant control systems, and implementing software standards to transmit data from PLCs and HMIs to Manufacturing Execution System (MES), or related.
