Cost Analyst

Your Tasks

  • Analysis and assessment of Cost break down and/or processes of the different technologies and production processes throughout the value chain for purchasing assemblies and specialized components from suppliers.
  • Generation of cost reduction measures as well as presentation of results to the internal decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Implementation of released cost down projects and measures according to the internal project guidelines and/or Project Development Cycle / Product Development Process / PDP.
  • Independent recognition, data gathering and implementation of best practice solutions in processes and cost structures of the corresponding Material groups including Brose own production (when required).
  • Identification of cost optimal solutions in order to assure project profitability through benchmark activities and drive future designs to best cost solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (may include leadership).
  • Preparation and execution of internal and external workshops in order to identify potentials for cost reductions.
  • Creation of linear performance price sheets to plot component price opportunities
  • Create and maintain cost models with preferred suppliers
  • Support commodity buyers in annual price negotiations with appropriate cost data
  • Data mining capability to identify potential cost save opportunities

Your Profile

  • Solid knowledge in Cost calculations and methodology of cost analysis as well as technical experience in Ideas creation and problem solving.
  • Very good practical experience in different technologies and production processes, confidence on execution of meetings and presentation skills
  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience
