Your Job Specification
- Responsible for ensuring the technical sustainability of the plant including existing production equipment, future production equipment, production processes such as welding, painting, and fastening, facilities, and work safety/energy/environmental compliance. Position will have technical interface with the production manager/director, customer teams, and central functions. Direct the implementation of new strategies of the plant, business divisions, and central departments relating to technical functions.
- Guidance and development of maintenance, Industrial Engineering, Safety and Health (AU) organization, and process experts (FT).
- Develop and define Strategies and Priorities for the dedicated Teams, Technologies and Targets.
- Plan, direct and manage the departments, resources and skill levels for the PT organization.
- Responsible for the availability and value of Infrastructure and Production Equipment with preventive and reacting measures and actions including spare parts management.
- Support Equipment Procurement process with Customer Teams and HQ by Engineering know-How and Lessons Learned.
- Monitor facility, maintenance, & unit costs, facilitate cost reduction measures in respect to building, production, and maintenance processes together with other managers, suppliers and customers.
- Implement know-how, Tools and Skill levels to support Brose Standards & Technology Competencies.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or technical degree from four-year college or university
- 8-10 years minimum applicable job experience in similar level and industry
- Technical Expertise in Processes, Equipment, Tooling and Engineering
- Knowledge of automotive Methods and Systematics (FMEA, VSM, CIP, MTM, PM, TPM)
- PC Skills and Shop floor IT basics
