EHS Engineer (Maternity leave)

- Drive EHS initiatives by participating in the Plant team, collaborating with top management to set goals, manage risks, and monitor environmental performance and cost-saving targets
- Provide expert support to local EHS programs, defining goals, aligning with Brose standards and legal requirements, and communicating with contractors and regulatory bodies
- Implement global programs related to environmental protection, occupational health & safety, and fire prevention at the factory level, including waste reduction strategies
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, corporate, and regulatory safety standards through inspections, assessments, documentation, and reporting
- Lead and support ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certification processes, including internal/external audits and documentation of the Integrated Management System
- Conduct training to ensure all employees understand EHS policies, risks, and fire protection measures; regularly perform risk assessments and safety checks
- Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, using root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence
- Contribute to factory-level projects focused on environmental sustainability, health and safety, and energy efficiency; prepare technical designs, scopes, and execution plans
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree preferably in technical field
- Previous experience on similar position
- Knowledge and understanding of government regulations, safety and environmental compliance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as organizational skills
- Certificate of passing a professional exam in the field of OSH
- Certificate of passing a professional exam in the field of fire protection
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent English language skills
