Health, Safety, Environmental and Energy Administrator

Your tasks

  • Assist in the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management plan and monitor compliance with the plan.
  • Maintain a register of accidents and injuries and providing an analysis of these in monthly meetings, identifying emerging OHS risks in the workplace.
  • Involvement for new equipment to established that they are safe/stable and supporting good ergonomic design for operators. New projects review prior to introduction within plant, ensuring all HSEE topics are covered.
  • Developing training programs on Health, Safety Environmental & Energy issues including hazard management, accident investigation, manual handling, and fire safety in liaison with the training team, energy savings, COSHH & dispose of hazardous waste.
  • The control of contractors, ensuring that they understand their requirements/ duties.
  • Assisting on projects and actions and ensure that agreed timelines are adhered to.
  • Audits and Compliances, assist with the schedules, reporting of outcomes, documentation, and records
  • Knowledge of COSHH & hazardous waste restrictions disposal

Your Profile

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in Health and Safety in Manufacturing industry
  • NEBOSH certificate
  • Have a proven track record of improving health and safety culture within the business.
  • Be able to multitask and support other departments
  • Good communication and able to work independently and be confident in decision making.
  • Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
