Process Engineer Industrialization Electronics

Your tasks

  • Self-independent planning, coordination, monitoring and completion of sub-projects for the industrialization and technical release of processes technologies
  • Self-independent planning, coordination, supervision and completion of subprojects for benchmarking of process suppliers for the manufacturability of electronical components and materials
  • Taking part and contributing to the creation and definition of manufacturing concepts, layout and design of electronics as well as the execution and implementation of process-FMEAs while providing specific knowledge from a variety of disciplines
  • Responsibility for process related technical tasks in the industrialization of projects and the ramp-up of process steps during the procurement of manufacturing equipment electronics, like definition of technological requirements in the specifications, technical evaluation of process subsystem and selection, guidance of the process industrialization and optimization, support during commissioning)
  • Self-directed implementation and release of new manufacturing technologies and processes in electronics production
  • Production-oriented selection of suitable processes and definition of robust process parameters for the process-safe manufacture of reliable products
  • Adaption and implementation of processes to project or plant initiated changes including risk assessment, documentation and release
  • Second level support of electronics series production in case of process-related manufacturing problems and more complex process improvements

Your Profile

  • Basic studies in the field of technical sciences, VI level of education
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in manufacturing of electronics
  • Advanced knowledge and experience regarding manufacturing techniques in electronics such as soldering, press fit, resistance welding, ultrasonic welding, laser welding of polymers and similar process technologies
  • Advanced communication and teamwork abilities
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced experience in data analysis tools and software
  • Lean principle thinking, self-starter, result oriented, proactive, works independently
  • Fluent English language skills
