Your Job Specification
- Responsible for all purchased parts that apply to a customer project regarding costs, quality and deadlines (including prototypes and investment). Accomplish all project goals that apply to purchase parts with compliance of the current Purchasing guidelines. Coordinate changes regarding purchased parts from the acquisition stage to EOP.
- Support special project sourcing strategies that are a part of new high-dollar, critical components with long-term, preferred suppliers
- Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market
- Participate, as needed, in supplier selection within NAFTA; however, the Commodity Buyer is the lead
- Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams

Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering from four-year college or university
- Minimum of four years’ experience in the automotive industry
