Senior Sales Controller

Your tasks

  • Reliable business partner for customer teams located in USA and Mexico for all business units and principal point of contact for local customer team directors
  • Ensure close alignment with other controlling functions and/or stakeholder (e.g., purchase price controlling, plant controlling, central controlling, business units and business service centers)
  • Sparring partner for the local sales organization on a day-to-day basis, especially during planning and forecast activities
  • Definition and alignment of the annual sales price premise during the planning process and ensure compliance with the established budget throughout the year
  • Self-reliant and sophisticated analysis of the monthly result for sales prices, accruals/provisions, volumes, and mix effects
  • Analysis of intercompany prices and transfer price logic
  • Ensure correct price level for customer nominated and spare parts
  • Analysis of contractual framework of sales contracts to identify areas of opportunity/risk and elaborate actions plans/ recommendations (e.g., raw material clauses, volume claims, etc.)
  • Support customer teams to manage and improve their OEM/Segment P&L with focus on sales, including in-depth analysis of focus project and internal benchmarks for sales price for products and customers
  • Define, improve, and standardize Controlling processes in alignment with central functions and ensure compliance with the established group processes (e.g., sales accrual process)
  • Support with internal projects
  • Support customer teams during year-end closing activities regarding sales price provisions

Your Profile

  • Business degree in commercial administration
  • 6-8 years of experience
