Tool Transfer Coordinator

Your Job Specification

  • Manage projects related to supplier changes/relocations
  • Work with cross functional teams to initiate, plan, and execute tool transfer projects
  • Request and allocate budget for project related activities
  • Lead the project team with the shared goal of avoiding any unplanned impact to Brose’s plants or customers (quality/delivery)
  • Confirm all critical information is clearly communicated to the new supplier to avoid gaps in know-how
  • Work with team members from business units and plants to ensure up to date part & tool information is provided to new suppliers (exit PPAP samples, process data sheets, tool reviews)
  • Set a cadence of meetings to ensure project tasks are being completed & support is available to suppliers and project team members
  • Work closely with risk management, purchasing, and supplier development
  • Track the performance of the new supplier to ensure a smooth launch phase
  • Identify potential projects with the goal of improving quality and/or reducing cost or risk

Your Profile

  • Minimum level of Education - Bachelors Degree
  • Work experience – 3-5 years preferably in automotive
  • Background in supply chain management, program management, tooling or quality preferred
