Lead Hardware Engineer

- Lead technical requirements and product solutions both internally and externally, from acquisition through project launch.
- Define functional and non-functional hardware requirements, ensuring alignment with system-level specifications.
- Oversee circuit design, schematic development, and hardware documentation (e.g., EMC test plans).
- Review and validate worst-case analyses for thermal and electrical performance to ensure reliability and safety.
- Supervise electrical simulations of sub-circuits using industry-standard tools (e.g., PSpice).
- Coordinate ESD, EMC, and electrical testing at certified laboratories, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for deviations from electrical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and system engineering) throughout the product lifecycle.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.
Your Profile
- Over 8–10 years of strong expertise in embedded hardware design for automotive comfort systems, including analog/digital circuits, power management for 12V/48V systems, and CAN/LIN communication.
- Proficient in schematic design, PCB layout, and simulation tools such as PSpice.
- Solid understanding of EMC/ESD compliance, electrical robustness testing, and automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and OEM-specific requirements.
- Familiar with EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD) and lifecycle management platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer interaction.
