Plant Manager El Marques

Your Tasks

  • Strategic Planning & Economic Development: Lead the mid- and long-term business planning in alignment with Group goals. Direct the preparation of annual budgets, analyze resource requests to identify cost-reduction areas, and ensure the financial health of the plant.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate all activities across production, distribution, warehousing, and engineering. Optimize the use of materials, machines, and personnel to ensure an efficient Start of Production (SOP) and ongoing manufacturing.
  • Quality & Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement (KVP) and monitor production costs and product quality. Ensure strict compliance with global quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO, EHS, OSHA).
  • Market & Customer Management: Act as the primary face to the customer and representatives of associated industries. Direct product promotion to increase market share and evaluate opportunities for expanded services.
  • Leadership & Talent Management: Provide disciplinary and functional leadership for 5–7 direct reports. Build, motivate, and train high-performing teams to meet future business needs and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Reporting & Representation: Review operating and sales reports to determine necessary program changes. Represent the plant’s interests both within the Brose Group and to external stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics or a related field from a four-year-college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role with multi-functional responsibility (within the automotive industry)
  • Profiency in SAP and production control programs
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing planning, logistics, and operational economy
  • Extensive experience in quality systems, problem-solving methodologies, and counter-measure management
  • High capacity for analytical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to independently recognize and solve complex problems
  • Strong business acumen and decisive leadership style
