Your Tasks
- Main aim of job(in brief no duties and responsibilities)The Senior Technical Lead – Motor Control is responsible for defining,designing,and guiding the implementation of embedded software for automotive motor control systems such as Traction drives,Engine Cooling Fans,HVAC blowers and Vehicle Control Unit.
- This role requires deep expertise in Motor Control Algorithms,Motor Topologies,Embedded Systems,Power Electronics,Functional Safety and Cyber Security.

Architecture & Design - Define end-to-end software architecture for automotive motor-control ECUs (BLDC, PMSM).
- Create high-level and detailed software design documents, interface definitions and component diagrams.
- architectural decisions for performance, safety, scalability and reusability.
- Participate in system architecture workshops to align software, hardware and mechanical components.
Motor Control Algorithms - Architect and review control-algorithm implementations such as:
- Field-Oriented Control (FOC)
- PWM generation
- Torque/Speed Control loops
- Current / Power Control
- Sensor-less estimation techniques (Kalman Filter, Observers)
- Ensure algorithm efficiency for target microcontrollers (Infineon, NXP, Renesas, TI).
- Embedded Software Development
- Guiding platform development includes:
- Hardware abstraction layers
- Motor drivers, timers, ADCs, interrupts
- Communication interfaces (CAN, LIN, SPI)
- Safety & Diagnostics modules
- C/C++ code for quality, MISRA compliance and performance.
- Standards & Safety
- Ensure architecture adheres to:
- ISO 26262 Functional Safety
- ASPICE Level 2/3
- MISRA C Guidelines
- Cybersecurity (ISO 21434)
- Support safety analyses (HARA, QSA, DFA, FTA and FMEA).
- Collaboration
- Work with system engineers on requirement analysis and feasibility.
- Collaborate with hardware teams on motor drivers, power stages, gate drivers.
- Coordinate with testing teams for SIL/HIL/bench/Vehicle level validation.
- Mentor development teams on architectural patterns and best practices
Your Profile
- Formal education(and specialization)Work experience Graduate/Post-graduate degree(e.g.Electronics,Electrical
- Power Electronics,Instrumentation)bigger than 10 years Specialized knowledge and skills
- Working experience of Modulation Techniques like Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM),Harmonic
- Injection,Field Weakening,Maximum Torque Per Ampere (MTPA) etc.
- Working experience of Control Systems Strategies e.g.P,PI,PID
- Working experience of 3-phase Current Measurement and reconstruction using Single Shunt method
- Working experience of Fourier Transformation,Laplace Transformation and Transfer Functions and State Space
