Krawietz / Martin play their way into the quarter-finals in Miami
German tennis pro Kevin Krawietz and his French doubles partner have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Masters Tournament in Miami.
After one hour and 56 minutes of play, their victory was determined with two set tiebreaks and the subsequent match tiebreak. The 2019 and 2020 French Open winner, alongside Frenchman Fabrice Martin, defeated Dutchmen Robin Haase and Matwe Middelkoop 6:7, 7:6, 10:7.
In the quarter-finals, the German-French pair will meet US players Tommy Paul and Ben Shelton, who surprisingly knocked out the original favourites Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury.
