Coburg, 10-17-2024

On October 14, automotive supplier Brose celebrated the official opening of its new Kids Club at the plant in Prievidza. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Trenčín self-governing region, Jaroslav Baška, and the Mayor of Prievidza, Katarína Macháčková, among others. A modern childcare facility was built in the immediate vicinity of the plant premises, offering space for around 50 children of Brose employees. The offer is aimed at children aged 1 to 6 years. The Kids Club concept is based on the successful models that Brose has been operating at its headquarters in Coburg/Germany since 2010 and in Ostrava/Czech Republic since 2014.

There is a great need for qualified childcare in the Prievidza region. For us as a family business, the compatibility of work and family is of crucial importance. The better this is achieved, the more our employees can contribute to the company's success. At the same time, this increases our attractiveness as an employer, explained Steffen Tauss, Head of Social- and Healthcare at Brose.

Jaroslav Baška, Governor of the Trenčín region, was impressed during the tour of the new premises: Brose not only offers attractive jobs, but also a comprehensive social program, including this childcare facility. Brose is thus setting an important benchmark for other companies in our region.

Successful concept and experienced team

The concept of the Brose Kids Club focuses not only on supervision, but also on promoting learning through play. The facility is divided into two areas: A nursery for the youngest children aged 1 to 3 and a kindergarten for those aged 3 to 6. The focus is on holistic education and varied support. A special educational focus is placed on environmental protection.

Afternoon care is planned for the older children with homework help, sports programs as well as technology, language and craft courses. In the vacation periods, the offer is to be expanded with a varied program.
