Change in the management structure at Brose SE
On October 2, 2024, the shareholders of the international automotive supplier transformed the dualistic structure of Brose SE into a monistic one. This change requires several new titles.
The previous Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Michael Stoschek, is now Chairman of the Administrative Board. His son, Maximilian Stoschek, remains his deputy, as before. Their responsibilities have not changed. The board members are now Executive Directors of their respective divisions.
The background for this change was the lack of leadership and decision-making capacity due to the absence of directive authority from the owners over the board, and from the Chairman of the Board over the other board members.
This bureaucracy hindered the organization and the constructive cooperation between the shareholders and management. To successfully manage both internal and external challenges, it is crucial to make quick and pragmatic decisions, especially now.
Dr. Philipp Schramm is no longer a member of the Executive Board as of October 2, 2024, as he declined the appointment as Chairman of the Executive Directors.
Therefore, the shareholders have assigned Stefan Krug, in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Director of Production, with the overall leadership (CEO) of the company. Stefan Krug has been working for Brose in various roles in Germany and abroad since 1998.
The shareholders thank Dr. Schramm for his contributions to the company since 2020 and for serving as CEO since September 2023.
The management and staff welcome the leadership change and appreciate Michael Stoschek's willingness to support the company with his more than 50 years of experience in tackling the upcoming challenges.
