Your Tasks

  • Core member of RFQ team from complete seats design. Main contact for CFTs to work on complete seats JIT RFQ.
  • To read and interpret customer specification/ RFQ pack, distribute the requirements clearly within the team to component designers eg. plastics, foams, wire harness etc..
  • Track ongoing bidding rounds for RFQs, review, and systematically organize the relevant bid documents. Sort the information in the documents and make it available in CFT.
  • Well versed with integrating the complete seats components and complete seats requirement. Is equiped to make packaging concepts and lead the discussions with customers.
  • Hands on with CATIA V5 assembly and kinematics module.
  • Works independently with data managemnt systems (both customer and internal) as well as internal release systems during RFQ phase and even beyond

Your Profile

  • Knowledge and experience of working in automotive Complete Seat Design, development and assembly.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Seat Components.
  • CAD designing using CATIA V5 3D and 2D.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Basic knowledge of design calculations of static and dynamical loads, deformation, pressure, mechanism travel and effort calculation etc.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Between 5 to 9 years professional experience in automobile related industries prefered in automotive seat systems after university graduation in engineering degree.
