Quality Coordinator

Your Tasks

  • Act as a mentor and coach for Quality Engineers, providing technical support and skills development.
  • Train and monitor the development of Quality Technicians and interns.
  • Define skill matrix needs, supporting the direct supervisor in personnel development.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with customers to address escalations.
  • Present quality KPIs, results, and issue status to customers.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions committed to customers.
  • Ensure effective communication with the production team.
  • Analyze and manage quality issues originating from suppliers.
  • Escalate critical supplier issues when necessary.
  • Ensure timely response and closure of quality issues.
  • Define, analyze, and present quality KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with standards (IATF 16949).
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Provide guidance on critical topics across all business units.
  • Ensure successful launch of new projects on time and within budget through area checklists / PDP.
  • Ensure compliance with plant quality indicators through the use of quality tools (Core Tools, BPS, PFM, etc.).

Your Profile

  • Engineering degree or related
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position in Tier 1 automotive industry.
  • Experience leading teams and managing personnel.
  • Strong technical knowledge in quality topics (problem solving, core tools, KPIs).
  • Advanced English is mandatory to be considered
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (Procella, Minitab).
