"Ma Walk": Brose honors employees for exceptional commitment

On March 14, representatives from the Brose plant in Changchun took part in a special run, the "Ma Walk". The idea for this event came from Ray Mirzaei, Head of Production Brose Asia. The event honored the achievements of Ma Jianming, a seat production employee at the Changchun plant, who walked the approximately eight-kilometer route to the plant during the pandemic despite the most adverse weather conditions to ensure on-time deliveries to customers. The run that has now started covered a distance of 3.5 kilometers. The employee's situation at the time was to be recreated through various challenges that the participants had to overcome during the run.

After the run, the plant management representatives took part in the Brose Kids Fund donation handover ceremony, which was held at the Jilin Provincial Charity Federation. The proceeds from the charity run will benefit families with children suffering from leukemia who cannot afford the high costs of treatment.

"Ma Jianming's commitment is representative of Brose's spirit. By establishing the Brose Kids Fund, we are giving something back to the community in which we live. We hope that with our modest contribution we can give hope to the children affected and their families. We plan to make the "Ma-Walk" an integral part of our social commitment because it gives our work and our lives more meaning," emphasized Ray Mirzaei.
