Head of Development

Your tasks

  • Develop and communicate the actions needed to implement the product strategy, ensure that the strategy meets business needs; definition of the development target/determination of the development trend with the customer units and assurance of return flow to the project team.
  • Manage and report on performance, set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective.action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
  • Evaluate the capabilities of staff within the department to identify gaps and prioritize development activities.Coach and mentor others to support the development of the organization's talent.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders up to management level; plan financial and resource/headcount budgets, propose business target and schedule key activities/projects; manage a portfolio of major projects in line with overall project management strategy; responsible for managing the definition, development and delivery of a significant product or service
  • Lead technical communication with customer to get approval of engineering, quality problem solving in the process of project lifetime; creation and technical judgment of specifications for test for sourcing and execution of technical delivery release, be responsible for reliable test results, test procedures and qualified test documents; develop partner relationship with customer engineering organization,
  • Align global product standards within the region and keep the product team in standards definition and compliance globally, design and develop engineering standards and specifications for an assigned engineering discipline to be adhered to by the organization and or its suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure engineering work

Your Profile

  • Sufficient engineering knowledge (better have electronic experience)
  • Strong leadership with strategic and business thinking
  • Good communication skill and team collaboration spirit
