Senior System Administrator of EDI Systems

Your tasks

  • organization and implementation of EDI projects with relation to customers and JIS/JIT Production
  • consulting and support of business partners and internal users in all questions of EDI communication
  • configuration and management of EDI-Converter including communication interfaces
  • monitoring and extended emergency support for critical JIT/JIS Processes
  • monitoring EDI-System and connected Sub-Systems
  • ordering and Lifecycle-Management for EDI-Mappings
  • coordination of external EDI Service Providers
  • responsibility for Change Management and documentation for EDI-System landscape

Your profile

  • degree in business informatics or computer science with a corresponding business management / technical background
  • basic Knowledge in SAP Modules MM, SD
  • experience with EDI converters (preferably Axway TSIM) and SAP IDoc management
  • knowledge in EDI-Technologies and Protocols (OFTP2, SFTP, AS2, XML, Webservices, Certificates)
  • advanced skills in Windows-Server, Linux/Unix, Putty/Shell, Bash
  • tried and tested knowledge with data exchange formats EDIFACT, VDA and ODETTE
  • technical and process knowledge of the SAP modules SD and MM
  • knowledge and experience with ITSM-Processes (Incident, Demand, Change) will be an advantage
  • very good English language skills
