Supplier Quality Engineer

  • Responsible supplier quality management in Brose Beijing Plant. Responsible contact for all those suppliers, who communicate quality issues with all concerned suppliers.
  • Ensure supplier quality management system efficiencies.
  • Claim to supplier regarding to the quality problem and confirm the root cause.
  • Supplier corrective action responses and conduct follow-up verification.
  • Responsible to create supplier quality notification in SAP and tracking it closed in time.
  • Report regularly supplier performance data and correlated chart.
  • Improve supplier performance to meet Brose quality requirement.
  • Support the internal procedure for incoming inspection process and guide the operation.
  • Confirm with supplier quality planner of customer team for new incoming inspection plan and updated one when need.
  • Train and guide incoming inspectors for inspection items.
  • Participates in meetings between suppliers, engineers and purchasing representatives for raw material substitution, standardization, rework, engineering change, localization and so on.
  • Internal support each customer team and production team with supplier quality issues if need.
  • Support Asia team to do supplier development in Beijing plant. Review supplier PPAP submissions for completeness and accuracy when need.
  • Tasks that are for the benefit of the Brose Beijing operation assigned by N+1 manager or the General Manager. (These tasks could be cross functional)

Quality Engineer

  • Minimum Bachelor degree level engineer in an engineering field
  • Minimum three years’ experience in supplier quality management in the automotive industry or ancillary industry
  • Certified supplier quality assurance and auditor
  • Comprehensive knowledge of error prevention and quality planning methods
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the production methods in use
  • Basic knowledge of environmental law and environmental technology
  • Know Chinese automotive market and industry
