Quality Engineer (Oil Pumps Production)

- Ensure customer satisfaction as well as internal and external process and product quality
- Reduce quality-related losses (internal and external failure costs, scrap costs...) using analysis of failure parts and initiating shutdown measures
- Create predefined quality documents (e.g. 8D reports, PDCA documentation, SAP quality notifications, product history...)
- Lead cause analysis teams using the Brose Problem Management Process, providing technical assessments for customer acceptance (naming, moderation and coordination of the problem-solving team)
- Independently make decisions on the justification of charged costs, addressing customer complaints and objections
- Execution of regular internal CIP rounds (according to PFM) for the tracking of open measures and deviation permissions as well as for the continuous improvement of the product and process quality and for the achievement of the defined Q-goals to the customer and internally
Your Profile
- University diploma in technical field (Mechanical engineering / Faculty of technical sciences, Faculty of Organizational sciences or similar)
- Minimum 2 years of experience on similar position, preferably in automotive industry
- Knowledge about quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA...) and problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 5 WHY...)
- Knowledge about IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5 and experience in SAP are plus
- Fluent English language skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
