Senior Simulation Engineer Seats Simulation

Your tasks

  • Crash and Static analysis of ‘Seat Components’ and ‘Seat System’: Validation of seat system and components in accordance to crash and static load cases, using ANSA as pre-processor and LS-Dyna as solver.
  • Crash and Static analysis of ‘Seat Components’ and ‘Seat System’: Study CAD and update of mesh, connections, materials, etc. Integration/updating of mechanisms in seat structure. Build subsystem include files as per Brose modeling guidelines. Dummy positioning and Loadcase environment setup - Front crash, Rear Crash, Belt Anchorage Test (BAT), Cargo Load, Iso-fix, etc. LS-Dyna loadcase run debug and plausibility checks. Post processing of FEA results and report preparation.
  • General:Communicate to the team lead and counterparts about project progress in a timely manner. Document the lessons learnt in projects and do knowledge sharing on regular basis. Provide very clear and prior information to the team lead about extended time lines, leaves, etc.

Your Profile

  • B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical/Production or other engineering discipline from a reputed university.
  • Must have a first class career track record in academics. No gaps in Education.
  • Bachelors / Masters of Engineering in Mechanical or equivalent.
  • FEA experience of 5~10 years in automotive domain.
  • Expertise in crash CAE model build up on seat system / full vehicle.
  • Experience in dummy positioning and belt routing.
  • Experience in loadcase environment buildup (belt lock, d-ring, load limiter, pretensioner, etc) .
  • Experience in LS-Dyna run debug and plausibility checks.
  • Experience in FEA report preparation.
  • Exposure to ‘FEA to Physical test co-relation’
  • Good soft skills, planning and time management.
